Blood is Thicker Than Water

Mammy and I on her 90th birthday.

I am blessed to have the family that I have. I don't think there would be any arguing that I am a problem child (not that I mean to be it just seems to work out that way). A person collects traits from their family members over time. Whether it is my sense of humor, independence, bad eyesight, or ugly feet I have inherited something from everyone and made it my own.

So if I have done anything good with this life my family deserves their share of the praise. (Obviously, if I really screw something up I will be blaming them for it all :))

Wow! What an inspirational story! I hope that you continue to share. And for those that don't get it. Try and fit in her shoes one day.
