I received my first VowTo box/lesson this week. This is a program surrounding the overall well being and balance of your body, mind, and heart (or soul). Though it is much deeper than than simply writing intentions and affirmations, that is certainly
part of it and I would rather write too many intetions than not enough.
Fortunately, my first box came in just in time for a challenging work week. I have been littering my desk with VowTo post-its such as:
I Vow To practice gratitude
I
Vow To NOT punch a coworker in the face
I Vow To eat my fruits and veggies, even though I would rather have a Twinkie
I Vow To NOT punch a coworker in the face
I Vow To practice my breathing exercises
I Vow To NOT punch a coworker
in the face
I Vow To be Present
I Vow To NOT punch a coworker in the face
I Vow To go to the gym, take a walk, read, or do something for myself for at least 1 hour a day
I Vow To NOT punch a coworker in the face
I VowTo write
at least three times a week
I Vow To NOT punch a coworker in the face
Perhaps a better course of action would be to drop off a VowTo intention card on the indiviual's desk. Maybe help this person discover some inner peace, because there simply
must be more going on under the surface to cause a grabbing and throwing temper tantrum due to running low on pens.
And, maybe tomorrow I will Vow To Not vent about others bad behavior on my blog, but not today!
